UNESCO Symposium in Sesto San Giovanni, Italy; this Friday and Saturday, September 24 and 25, the Municipality of Sesto San Giovanni will host the international symposium «Sesto San Giovanni: a History and a Future. Industrial Heritage for the Whole World».
The symposium will be broadcast live in Italian and English through the website of the Municipality of Sesto San Giovanni (www.sestosg.net) for those who can not attend. The symposium is intended :
i) to inform on the application for the inscription of Sesto San Giovanni’s industrial heritage in the UNESCO world heritage List as an evolving cultural landscape, and
ii) to gather and compare international studies, opinions and experiences about the industrial heritage, its conservation and enhancement, and the world heritage list.
