Breve C.V.:

Alessandro Pernice / ARCES University College of Merit (Italy) / Consultant on EU Public Affairs and on Project management for Research & Innovation projects. Graduated in International relations in 2000 at University of Palermo, he gained a Master in European Political and Administrative Studies (College of Europe of Bruges) in 2002. Head of Unit for European Programmes in charge of supporting the management of EU projects focused on Social Inclusion, Blue & Circular Economy, Social Innovation, Tourism, ICT. 

«Helios and Citrivet projects: two examples of social innovation and social inclusion initiatives in the Mediterranean region»

SECTION: Social Innovation, Heritage and Territorial Development. Experiences and sustainability of rural areas and urban needs. Creativity and innovation.

The objective of these two projects, HELIOS (co-funded by ENI CBC MED Programme) and CITRIVET (co-funded by ERASMUS+), is to ensure that NEETs and Women, VET learners and jobseekers can benefit from soft skills coaching and tailored training courses on Entrepreneurship and Business development (including social enterprise), Blue and Circular Economy, that will assist them in creating their businesses and developing the territory, especially by promoting Social innovation as a source of growth and jobs and territorial employment plans.

As stated in several studies performed by the EU, UfM, UNEP, FAO these sectors (including the Social Economy sector) can absorb many skilled workers in the future and can be considered as concrete possibilities for unlocking resources, stimulating inclusive and economic growth, and delivering social and environmental value.

Participants to trainings will learn techniques aimed at recycling and reusing products as raw materials, as well as innovative methodologies and technologies aimed at coastal cleaning and restoration, as well as at the transformation of citrus waste in bioproducts.

Learning new marketable skills will help them find a job and build a career in these industries.

«Los proyectos Helios y Citrivet: dos ejemplos de iniciativas de innovación social e inclusión social en la región mediterránea».

SECCIÓN: Innovación social, Patrimonio y Desarrollo Territorial. Experiencias de Sostenibilidad urbano-rural, creatividad e innovación.

El objetivo de estos dos proyectos, HELIOS (cofinanciado por el Programa ENI CBC MED) y CITRIVET (Cofinanciado por ERASMUS+), es asegurar que los NINIs y mujeres,  estudiantes de Formación Profesional y demandantes de empleo se puedan beneficiar de soft skills coaching y de cursos de formación a medida sobre Iniciativa Empresarial y Desarrollo Empresarial (incluida iniciativa social), la Economía Azul y la Circular, que los ayudarán a crear sus negocios y a desarrollar el territorio, especialmente mediante la promoción de la Innovación Social como fuente de crecimiento, de trabajo y de planes de empleo territorial.

Como se ha indicado en varios estudios, llevados a cabo por la Unión Europea, la Unión por el Mediterráneo, el Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Medio Ambiente y la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Alimentación, estos sectores (incluido el sector Economía Social) pueden absorber varios trabajadores cualificados en un futuro y pueden ser considerados como posibilidades específicas para desbloquear recursos, estimular el crecimiento inclusivo y económico y aportar valor social y ambiental.

Los participantes en esta formación aprenderán técnicas sobre cómo reciclar y reutilizar productos como materia prima, además de metodologías y tecnologías innovadoras centradas en la limpieza y restauración de la costa, así como la transformación de desechos de cítricos en bioproductos.

El aprendizaje de nuevas competencias para el mercado laboral los ayudará a encontrar un trabajo y a construirse una carrera en estos sectores.
